Our double-rod assembly adds infinite mounting options with top and bottom M12 threads on its rod clamps and its array of 1/4"-20 threads on its 40cm full-length cheese plate.


It comes with two rod clamps, two 40cm rods, a 40cm cheese plate, a magic arm and all the screws and tools you might need. Its all aluminium construction won't budge no matter what you throw at it.

What can I mount with the Double Rod Kit?

You can securely mount a range of accessories, including cameras, lights, microphones, and monitors - anything “that can be tripod mounted”. The additional M12 threads on the rod clamps allow for further expansion by attaching single rods at a 90-degree angle.

How does the Double Rod Kit improve rigidity compared to single rods?

The double-rod design distributes weight more evenly and minimizes torsional flex, making it ideal for mounting multiple accessories or larger equipment and at greater distance from the VESA plate.

 

By pairing two rods using rod clamps and a connecting cheese plate, it creates a solid foundation for mounting heavier accessories, enabling more complex setups - especially when using magic arms.

Is the Double Rod Kit compatible with all VESA plates?

Yes! The Double Rod Kit works seamlessly with all Monoblocc VESA plates. Attach it to any of your VESA plate’s double rod sides - the “flat sides”.

Is any special tool required for installation?

No special tools are required. The Double Rod comes with all the necessary components, including Allen keys to secure the included screws. A step-by-step guide is also available on our website to make installation simple and quick.

Can i use aftermarket components with a single rod?

Yes! Each Monoblocc Monitor Rig component uses industry standard threads making it an open ecosystem. The rod system uses common M12 threads and all mounting attachments follow tripod thread standards. All connectors and tripod heads use common 1/4”-20 threads ensuring maximum compatability and the same is true for our cheese plates.
